i "cut my teeth", so to speak, in a band 'round age 14-15, doing a cover of this tune-- which we then went on to perform for many years as variations of the same ensemble. i believe it may still exisit, in fact, as led by Jason Kendall and brother Jeremy Kendall (Pennsylvania, USA), the band name is / was "Deja Vu". i loved playing this song. fond memories. funny how those "clean" brain cells are still there, isn't it? everything in between however-- fuck if i remember! haha... but seriously-- i enjoyed doing this tune, as our sax man, Jason Kendall was badass for a 15 year-old. i only wonder how he sounds nowadays (Selmer Mark VI, etc.) [sp?]
