Forth is the fourth and final album by English alternative rock band The Verve. It was released internationally on August 25, 2008, and a day later in North America. The band reformed in 2007, having broken up in 1999. Forth is their first album of new material since their 1997 album Urban Hymns.

    I think it's incredible, it has their biggest sound since A Storm in Heaven, it has the same bravery had back in the early 1990's. There are times when it drags on but the best parts are just epic.

    I read so much shit about that album (not based on Of course it's not far from known pop-structures. Here they are only stretched out, sometimes even highlighted in the refrains. But...aside from that, I really like it, could be much more shoegazing, but well done, great sound and impressive guitar-layers.

    Underrated, but I REALLY wish they'd included the b-sides which are amazing (e.g. Ma Ma Soul, Muhammad Ali, Blue Pacific Ocean, Major Force, etc.)

    I'm glad they got back together long enough to record this. It's nice. It might not be quite as good as their earlier material, but it fits into their catalog nicely.
