“Take Me on the Floor” is a song by Australian pop duo The Veronicas. It was released as the fourth single off their album Hook Me Up in Australia on 26 July 2008, and the second single off the album in the United States on 24 March 2009. The song reached the top forty in both Australia and New Zealand, reaching #7 and #29, respectively. The song also charted in Canada (#54) and the United States (#81 Hot 100, #62 Pop). It also reached #53 on the ARIA End of Year Singles chart, and was certified Gold in Australia, with sales of over 35,000.

The song was written by Toby Gad and The Veronicas, and is also produced by Gad. Musically, the song is an uptempo electronic-pop number, featuring elements of disco, new wave, and rock. Lyrically, the song is about having fun whilst on the dance floor, with some sexual innuendo thrown in, most obviously in the song’s title.
