There are multiple artists that go by the name of The Valentinos:

1) The Valentinos (aka The Womack Brothers), was a Cleveland, Ohio-based family R&B group that recorded from the late 1950s until the mid 1970s consisting of Bobby Womack and his four brothers, Cecil Womack, Harry Womack, Friendly Womack Jr., and Curtis Womack. All of the brothers were songwriters, and on many occasions, produced their own material.

They recorded with some level of success for Chess Records, and for Sam Cooke’s SAR Records, releasing several songs that were hits on the R&B charts, and that later became major hits for other artists, such as “It’s All Over Now” (later covered by The Rolling Stones) “Looking For A Love” (covered by The J Geils Band ,and which was also later covered and made a major hit by Bobby himself as a solo artist),”I Found A True Love”,(later covered by Wilson Pickett) ,”Everybody Wants To Fall In Love” which was covered by Solomon Burke, and “I Can Understand It” (which was later covered by New Birth). They started out as gospel artists, singing at their father , pastor Friendly Womack Sr.’s church, and released several records on Cooke’s SAR Records label as “The Womack Brothers”.

2) The Valentinos are a band from Sydney, Australia. They released two EPs under the band name The Valentinos but changed their name in mid 2007 to Lost Valentinos due to the threat of legal action by soul artists from the late 50s to 70s later known as Bobby Womack & The Valentinos.
