Another Bed (4:39)

From No One Can Ever Know and 1 other release

Another Bed is the second official single from the band’s third album No One Can Ever Know. It was released as a limited edition, hand-stamped and numbered 7” vinyl on February 20, 2012. The song was originally written for the band’s second album, Forget the Night Ahead. It was later re-edited but nearly left off the No One Can Ever Know, as the band didn’t feel sure about it. During the mixing of the album, Andrew Weatherall, who assisted the band in production, assured them it was actually a really strong track and they later decided to include it.

The video for the song was directed by Craig Murray who was inspired by old-folks tales about photographs being a capture of people’s souls. The idea was later reinterpreted as the story of a lonely VHS store clerk who creates stop-motion videos featuring dead bodies interacting with him.

Great to hear British artists singing with British accents instead of mimicking the American accent!

Brilliant. But sometimes it seems that his voice is like a tape which played on reverse. Really difficult to understand. PS: thing below is crap.

@gw666: to be fair, James' intonation isn't exactly clear all the time. I'm Scottish and have to look up the words.

I love this one so much, pairs up perfectly with the Errors' remix of Reflection of the Television.

Loving the bass. Anyone know where I can find the lyrics? Kind of hard to hear what he's saying.

It's..... HUGE! Could this be the "I Became A Prostitute" of this album?
