    They chose to honor Otis by giving him the 'feature' on the song, they didn't have to do it or were forced to do it but had the option to list him. I'm sure many people looked up who "Otis Redding" is after having listened to the song or looked at the title of the song, thats enough for them to put his name on the feature.
