    I think we should ask to change the cover art of this one. I am not too fond of the one from the "London Town" box set- the original one is way better.

    This record came out in July of 1989 but endured well into the '90, and was an unforgettable part of both decades. It had perhaps the widest appeal of all of Matt Johnson's The The efforts, and is definitely my favorite post-Smiths Johnny Marr work. His harmonica on the Beat(en) Generation and all the guitars on the whole record -- but especially Beyond Love -- are pure masterwork.
