  • Fuck you Last.fm and your shitty correction! Canadian Sword!
  • I love the sound of the new album. [2]
  • I'm slowly starting to dig High Country. Took me some time but it's pretty OK. No Age of Winters or Apocryphon but I was expecting worse after some of your comments.
  • Hmm... why do my plays of Sword (the Canadian heavy metal band from the 80s which made the Metalized album) get "corrected" into The Sword? Shouldn't happen.
  • Heavy Pop Review: [url removed]
  • Sorry but who is to say what is decent. The fact that certain music doesn't coincide with your own tastes doesn't mean it's bad. I love the sound of the new album.
  • I agree the change in sound is too drastic. I don't mind a band doing something different, but man this exactly what happened to Baroness...(though at least their new stuff to me is interesting, where as this new album is somewhat bland). Here's to hoping it grows on me.
  • I miss the heavier incarnation of The Sword, but I'm guessing these songs will smoke live.
  • I'm so sad. What the hell happened? Why is it rock? Why is it so limp? Why is it so badly produced? Why has their singer deteriorated? Why does this just keep happening? Can't a band have 2 or 3 decent albums and then keep making decent albums? Why do they always deteriorate into this wishy washy rock inspired crap? They had such a good thing going and it's gone now.
  • Giving it some re-listenings and I'm kinda digging it, but as I said it doesn't piece together as an album yet
