Lead singer and main song-writer Sarah McLeod formed the band in late 1994 with guitarist (and her guitar teacher at the time) Chris Tennent, drummer Paul Berryman and bass player Stuart Rudd. They were originally called Hell's Kitchen before changing their name to The Superjesus on the eve of the 1994 Big Day Out in Adelaide.

  • top notch rock... could pull it off live better than their recorded counterparts. Wish they were still kickin' . Check out 'I'm Stained, 'Shut My Eyes', 'Over To You'... I have a slight preference to their heavier stuff though. 'Everybody Calls Me Lonely' kills it!

  • Saw Sarah McLeod play an acoustic show two nights ago. As we're in Adelaide Stuart Rudd was there and jumped up on bass for the Superjesus songs. Good times.
