Fit But You Know It (4:11)

“Fit But You Know It” is a song by The Streets and written/produced by Mike Skinner. It was the lead single of The Streets second album A Grand Don’t Come for Free and was released on 26 April 2004; it reached number four in the UK Single Charts.

The song, performed in mockney English, centers around the singer meeting a girl whose appeal is greatly marred by her high self-estimation. It is said by The Streets to be inspired by former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens.

The song was featured in EA Sports game FIFA Football 2005.

There also was an MC version of the track featuring Kano, Donae’o, Lady Sovereign and Tinchy Stryder.
