The Stillwells are a pop / indie band from Newcastle, UK and are the culmination of Regan Von Doom’s long (but ultimately underground) solo songwriting career. From 2000 Regan produced a number of EPs and LPs under various pseudonyms - John Whitaker the 3rd, Donell Carlton, Victor Von Doom to name a few.

In early 2008 Lola Rainbows, one half of Clueless Pigeons, recorded the specially written track In Jessica’s Room to feature on The Stillwells LP No More Superheroes. After hearing the track, the second member of Clueless Pigeons, Gavin Wins joined The Stillwells to form the current lineup and to rewrite and rerecord the No More Superheroes album.
