I have enjoyed reading many posts regarding the best releases of 2005. Although I have not agreed with everyone’s critiques, I have been turned onto some good stuff I would have otherwise missed.
I would like to add a few additions to the growing agreement about some of the best new releases of ’05. Here are a few I did not see well represented – check them out when you have the chance.Multiply
Although Jamie Lidell does not offer a new style, it is a fine tribute and testament to the best offered from the 60/70's heros of R&B and funk. A great fun listen.Charlemagne
If you are a fan of The Shins, you will most likely enjoy Charlemagne. I am a bigger fan of their self titled debut, but this album is a bit of light at the start of a long cold winter.Lonely People of the World, Unite!
