THE SPHERICAL MINDS was set up in 2001. The band’s main influences are varied: Steve Reich for his simplicity, the mind-blowing rock of Pink Floyd or the experimentations of Radiohead…The band is always interested in discovering artists from different musical horizons.

Long and ethereal as well as dream-like atmospheres are characteristic of THE SPHERICAL MINDS. Acoustic instruments such as cello, piano and guitar, are mixed with trip hop -sometimes dub- rhythms, bass and electric guitar.

The band has just recorded ‘Fern’, his second album, the first on ‘Carte Postale Records’. Daniel Cavanagh (Anathema) did the band the honour of singing on the album…
