The Sparkle Express is the side project and road rolling band of John Finch. Adopting the project in order to focus more his poetry, Finch implements a similar, yet more refined sound in The Sparkle Express than previous projects, namely Violent Noise Parade. Interlacing poetry into smooth soundscapes, The Sparkle Express carries a different feel than prior work.
As well as focusing on poetry, Finch also wishes to make his repertoire more versatile in order to play during travel. Now a nomad, this seems to be the best choice for the curious artist. While it has been expressed that Finch wishes to bring more people into the project, it consists of him alone for the time being.
