Version 7

The Soundrops are a quarter-professional Polish acoustic duo, consisting of siblings Gero (Gerard Nowak: vocals, harmonies, guitars, electric pen) and Morella (M***a Nowak: vocals, djembe, mental support). The group are occasionally joined by another founder member OtoKarbalcy (Paweł Kuźmiak: vocals, guitar), but he is very lazy and pogorszył się w piłce. Gero and Balcy played in a very respected (mainly by them themselves) group The Round Triangle. They play pastoral rock with heavily harmonised vocal parts, inspired by early Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett solo, The Beatles, The Moody Blues oraz Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick & Tich. They are famous for acoustic versions of songs by Polish rock group Armia, as well as for underproduced (albeit much overdubbed) renditions of some sixties tracks. So far they haven’t released anything worth mentioning bar a couple of inspired bars. The only available recordings are demos (stereo and non-stereo), produced by friends like: . and Kamik. A more up-to-standard demo, is called “Future Perfect in the Past” (recorded in SP Records studio 2006). More recent ventures are “Half”, “Good Afternoon”, “Outward”, and “Night” (obycztery 2007), almost ocierające się o Grandmy Award. And there is “Interim” (2008), the best of them all.
