2015 didn't take that long to bring the tuneage. . .lets see. . . .Napalm Death
- apex predator, easy meat
i think it's possible they've done the double!!
production is heavier sounding than they've had in years. It has this bit of reverb on it that makes it almost similar to Fear Emptness Despair.
On the first track, they're back on their SWANS shit and it is amazing. After that, we break right on through to the action. This album is 75% fast. Dear Slum Landlord is like the title track to Smear Campaign(with Barney's chorused clean vocals), but way better. Modern Napalm can be kind of hit or miss when they slow down and they do kinda push it on this one with 3 honest to goodness 90s throwbacks though. Thing is, they are different levels of 90s throwback. "cesspits" is the best one. Starts midtempo, gets fast, stays fast. Think FED. "how the years condemn" is a midtempo verse chorus verse song(something ND could drop from their repertoire completely and be far better for it)…
