"So sad about WIFE BEATER. I almost cried. I have none of his records and I don't care about The WIFEBEATERS, but when people who devote a part of their lives to 'WIFEBEATING' are shot five times for it, well, that disturbs me. It's always the WIFE BEATING people. Nobody would assasinate our dear prime minister. Is all life sad?"

@kiteo "So sad about John. I almost cried. I have none of his records and I don't care about The Beatles, but when people who devote a part of their lives to 'peace' are shot five times for it, well, that disturbs me. It's always the wrong people. Nobody would assasinate our dear prime minister. Is all life sad?"

Has Morrissey ever given his opinion on John Lennon (he seems to have an opinion on everything else). It's a bit random, but they seem to share a similar sensibility, but I've never heard him say he's a fan.

best Morrissey-ish lyric ever written: it's ambiguous ("mammary glands"), hilarious ("who will swallow whom?" + "I crack the whip and you skip but you deserve it") and utterly cynical ("there's more to life than books, you know, but not much more.") <3
