This is one of the best Pumpkin songs ever, seriously. Heart-breakingly beautiful.

I agree, the Zeitgeist songs are produced with way too loud vocals, but great songs nonetheless. And this is such a beautiful song. I love riding through the city in the middle of the night listening to this tune. And something tells me that Corgan played the drums in the end and not Jimmy. Maybe because all the other instruments are played by Billy and the drums are so simple. He could have done it by himself in his home studio. But I could be wrong :) And note that this song is written in ONE DAY, and how it turned out! Genius!!

I agree with the vocals being too loud but one of the best tracks he's written in a while.

On one hand I feel like this could be the best song he's written since the reunion (love when Jimmy's drumming comes in near the end). On the other hand I feel like the studio version suffers from the zeitgeist-era problem of having the vocals (and especially the backing vocals) mixed waaaayy too loud. I wish the song were more subtle instead of being beat over the head with "LA DE DAH"s. It's definitely way better live.

"The Rose March" is definitely a gem, as a Corgan composition and on its own. Easily one of the best songs he has written.

The rose march and again again again(the crux) are fantastic! but them together with that's the way and bring the light and you'll just have a perfect sound that will last forever
