Ok, so I'm not that big on writing reviews, but since there hasn't been one yet, I'll try to write down a few things! :)
Around 19:25 Eskju Divine entered the stage. I'd actually never heard of them until the day before, when I looked them up on YouTube after the announcement that they were going to support The Smashing Pumpkins in Stockholm. And I must say that I was impressed by their music. This made me feel even more confused - How could I have missed this great band from Sweden? Anyhow, they did a good performance, even though no one I saw seemed to know the words.
They played for about half an hour. I did hear the security guys telling us that The Smashing Pumpkins (or, De smällande pumporna, as one of the guys said, nice translation by the way.) were supposed to start playing at 20:30, which they did!
They opened up with United States, a superb new song! Billy did look bored in the beginning. …

As we all know, last year Billy Corgan announced that his highly influential alternative rock band, The Smashing Pumpkins, were reuniting for a new album (tracklist above), albeit lacking two members. Now, at the time, this seemed like good news. And I suppose it still is...to an extent. I WAS planning on going out to the store, and buying Zeitgeist the weekend it came out. That was, until I discovered that there were going to be NINE (count them, NINE) different versions of the CD. Scattered among these releases are three bonus tracks, six different colors for the album cover, five covers of SP songs done by other bands…
