Pisces Iscariot is a compilation album by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins released in 1994 through Virgin Records, consisting of B-sides and outtakes. Reaching number 4 in the U.S. upon its 1994 release,Pisces Iscariot was certified platinum by the RIAA on November 23, 1994.The album was initially to be called Neptulius. The album was re-released by EMI as deluxe-edition CD and LP on July 17, 2012. Imagine if Siamese Dream had been a double album and this was the second disc. That'd've been pretty cool.

"This album sounds like it would sound great while driving through the desert. It just gives off that vibe to me" Driven through the desert listening to this, can confirm it is truly phenomenal.

One of the best albums ever that never was recorded as an album. Truly fantastic.

"Some interview with Corgan from the 90s I read said that he discarded a bunch of surefire hits when recording Adore to achieve a more consistent feel/ebb and flow for the overall album. Even though this was before Adore (and therefore worthwhile) I assume that's why these songs are so fantastic. It's probably not a matter of the band not feeling they were worthy, but tracks that had to make way for the greater good." He did this throughout his whole career. check out the b-sides from MCIS and have a listen to Machina II.

Although, that said, Starla should definitely have been on a fucking studio album. That shit is phenomenal.

Their most intimate and best record, despite being from disparate albums, this record more than any other, captures the essence of the band perfectly.
