  • The best non-classical vocal group ever. I grew up listening to the Hi-Los which saved me from heavy metal! And Singers Unlimited are an amazing extension of the concept of multipart hamrony. Unfortunately there will be no more recordings from them, unless unreleased recordings are found from their time period or someone comes into the group that has talent comparable to Gene Puerling. I'd say the odds of either are slim to none. Along with that - thank God for "Magic Voices." Literally.

  • Gene Puerling has already proven his genious in the Hi-Lo's back from the 50s. The Hilarious arrangements he made with his two vocal groups develop a sound, i've hardly heard in my musical scholarship. Astounding!!!
