The Silver Wizard recruited this mob of minstrels and vagabonds at the tail end of 2006. Describing themselves as a ‘ collective’, their mix of , , and encompasses acts as diverse as Blondie, Circulus, The Cure, Hawkwind, Portishead and Patrick Wolf. The presence of haunting and adds great depth and variety to the band’s bi-gender vocal harmonies and tight, danceable rhythm section. The Silver Wizard Project’s music is complimented by their fantastical artwork, surreal short stories and unique live show.

Countless real ales later and the merry crew have conquered fairyland and are planning to conduct a peaceful coup over the mortal dimension. They can be seen performing in pubs and clubs around London, and greater Avalon. Their songs have also been played on Dandelion Radio, TSM Radio and Wired Radio.

When prompting The Silver Wizard Project at Old Queen’s Head (London), 25 Mar 2008, Shot By Both Sides described them as: ”Armed with a fantastically opulent name and a natty line in stage attire, The Silver Wizard Project are the most admirably unfashionable group in existence. Their girl/boy vocals and ’fairytale rock’ sound has roots in the prog-folk of early Hawkwind, short stories and narrations are a regular feature of their set, and they have a theremin. Frankly, otherworldly.”
