There are at least four bands that share Showdown in their name;
1.A Hardcore Band from Norway called “Showdown”
2. A hip-hop duo from Slovenia called ShowDown.
3.The other is called “The Showdown” from Elizabethton, Tenn., this crushing five-piece band has crafted an epic heavy metal sound for listeners who enjoy their music relentless. The Showdown’s style shifts effortlessly from Southern rock to European death and everything in between. Lyrically, their writing tells of heroism, sojourns and battles of life; melodically, their crushing rhythm and articulate guitar play takes the listener on a roller-coaster ride of emotion. The result is a brutal and honest anthem for the youth of today, with a strong Christian message, in the form of A Chorus of Obliteration, the groups debut album.
4. Canadian country band. Also known as Garry Lee & Showdown. Their most well known song is “The Rodeo Song.” They are incorrectly “corrected” as “The Showdown.” This artist will be removed from this bio when this is properly assigned.

@Fallingup1986 Yeah, but, because your songs depict biblical stories doesn't make your band christian. I mean, the majority of Black Sabbath's music depicted biblical themes. And they were far from Christian. As far as I'm concerned, A Chorus Of Obliteration was just a cool concept album about the old testament. And, I'm a sucker for concept albums.

In my opinion, "Back Breaker" is their best album by far. They have really found the sound that suits them with this album. Not only is it my favorite album by them, it's one of my all time favorite thrash albums. They get so over-looked because they're technically a christian band but, it's still so heavy and so epic. And, quite frankly, their songs aren't all that christian when you think about it. Except for maybe a few songs from Temptation.
