  • So gotta source the 2nd album great band
  • Any word on a physical copy of the new album??
  • Finally, new album. ~~ http://theshoremusic.bandcamp.com/
  • You were very lucky, it seems. :P Thanks for keeping an extra eye out!! It'll be nice to be able to get that version of the album...
  • Yes, I was lucky enough to nab a copy! I've seen it on ebay before, though i just searched for it and didnt find it. I will keep my eyes open and if I find it will definitely let you know.
  • Light Years on CD! What a thought... I completely missed their limited release and I've been fruitlessly checking for secondhand availability (I don't have a record player handy to play the vinyl version, so haven't gotten that yet). If they do a CD run this time around I hope I'll be quick enough to get one myself, assuming they don't make a bigger splash recognition-wise and find support for a proper large-scale physical release.
  • Very true, they are alive! Now I wish we could just get them out of Socal for a tour lol. I think if we hang tight we'll eventually get a cd/vinyl release. They had similar problems releasing Light Years and they did a pressing of a cd limited to about 100 and sold it through their myspace page (which I was lucky enough to land!) and then the vinyl through New Black Records which I also got. This begs the question again: how does a band this good have so many struggles releasing their music! So very frustrating!!!!!!! Glad I'm not the only one that sees it....
  • shakermaker05, I know about the physical release - I wanted to contribute towards that but missed the donation deadline myself (ironic, right? but basically, my internet is virtually crippled for loading things like their Kickstarter page). Take heart though, even if rock&roll is pretty dead, the Shore is very much alive.
  • Thank you to everyone who donated- I feel like a scumbag for not doing so (just found out about this ;( Is it still possible to chip in? I would gladly throw down some cash if it meant getting a physical release!! BTW- so sad a band with this talent has this much trouble releasing music that is better than anything released on mainstream radio! I'm afraid rock & roll is indeed dead :(
