It's a toss-up between this and Exile on Main St. for best Stones album for me. They could seemingly do no wrong at this point in their careers.

This one is a winner in every possible respect. Mick Taylor's guitar playing is incredible, the songwriting is the best of the band's career, the production is perfect, the riffs Keith came up with are terrific, etc., etc. There's not a single nagging doubt in my mind that this is the best album they ever did. Most Stones albums have one or two duffers, but every track here is solid and a good 5 or 6 of them are among the best of the band's career.
