  • Terrific album that almost matches up to their absolute best, but not quite. Still, there are a handful of classics to be found here and even the ones that don't get a lot of radio play ("When the Whip Comes Down," "Before They Make Me Run" and "Far Away Eyes" in particular) are top-notch. • Before They Make Me Run <3 thank you, Keith!
  • I have a secret crush on this album and Tattoo You. I think they're both as good as anything the Stones have ever made.
  • Their Best Album!!!!
  • even the album cover is great.
  • We all know the Mick Taylor era is their peak in terms of creativity and artistic achievement, but this album is my second favorite after Exile. The rawness, the aggresive punk-blues hybrid, and those simple but majestic song arrangements are some of the greatest moves by the Stones.
  • Shattered <3
  • Boy they're really rocking hard on this one! Far Away Eyes is also a pretty song.
