Biography

The band “The Roadkills” formed in Chengdu, China 2005. As a live act The Roadkills has included Anders Chriss (vocals, guitars), Huang Zhi Kun(bass), Dan Evans (drums) and Dj Geezer (live beat mixing and electronics).
On the creative side The Roadkills is essentially the outlet for the musical torrent originating from Anders Chriss’ attempts to interpret the world around him.
Since forming in 2005 The Roadkills worked hard to establish themselves on the Chinese rockscene by playing in venues all over China, and in April 2006 they played at the Springscream festival in Taiwan. In the summer of 2006 The Roadkills did a nationwide tour of China: the “Skid Mark Tour”. Throughout 2007 The Roadkills played various events in western China, one of them being the “Electrax Party” in Chengdu.
Originally a traditional 3 piece band, in 2007 The Roadkills’ live shows incorporated live electronics with the live instuments. The Roadkills is now based in Sweden, and released a remixed and remastered version of the EP “逆行” in 2011. A remastered version of the EP “Come with me” will be released during fall 2013.
