The Retuses – an independent musical project of Misha Rodionov, formed in 2007. originally the songs were recorded with the one-minute dictophone together with the childhood friend Cyrill Nazarov. This stuff had completed the EP “For a minute”. In 2008 Cyrill Nazarov left The Retuses and after that Misha starts to record the new material on his own. Picking up new instruments, basically collected from friends and relatives, working with musical editors and slightly improved sound quality, by the age of 16 he began to work on the album “Echo”. Some of the songs were recorded in the most unexpected places: in the old abandoned car, at 4 am in the village, inside of the water tower.
In June, 2009 the album has been laid out in the Internet and has received positive reviews of russian critics and abroad ones.
The Retuses is the music of idlers. The music of depressive teenagers, fatalists suffering by a spleen and pessimists. The last song of a drowned man.
The touring band:
