The Project was formed in February 2007. In just three months, they have established a strong Boston-area fanbase, opened for a major label band (Saves the Day), and put together a 5-song EP entitled “Twenty South.” Their mature songwriting and tight, improvisational live shows have elevated them from the “college band” genre and placed them within reach of the upper echelon of professional bands. Though young performers, their sound reflects a mature blend of classic and contemporary influences including the Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, the Dave Matthews Band, Phish, and Bob Marley.
