The Pororoca is a solo project by composer/producer/musician Gabriel Turner (1981 - Present). Dealing mostly with experimental sound design, these compositions represent the composers need for entertainment and humor in his work. Often regarded as a “horrible music” by both listeners and the press, Turner explains, “Think of it as if television had never existed. Instead of graphic violence, sexual content, and humor for your eyes - these compositions have been created for your ears to be violated and repulsed in the same manner as when you watch late night Cinemax on your television.”
