They received heavy airplay on Jolly Roger Radio, the famous midwestern pirate station, in the late 70s - early 80s. Yo ho ho!

This is the latest incarnation of the Pentangle, although they've been kicking around for at least 15 years. I saw them at the Sage in Gateshead last month - utterly breathtaking. Check out Jacqui McShees Pentangle.

That has to be a harp and it is beautiful, filling in lovely harmonies.

One of my first albums was their 1968 debut, simply titled "The Pentangle". Given to me by my friend David Weiss, who I guess didn't like it. My gain! Have loved the band to this day.
