The Peanut Butter Genocide is a Canadian psychedelic band from Regina, Saskatchewan formed in 2009. It is currently driven by singer-songwriter Andy Goodson (synth, samples, vocals, percussion, guitar, bass, sitar). With a wide range of musical influences, The Peanut Butter Genocide distinguishes their sound as 60s psychedelic fused with SNES era video games. The band recently released their first album entitled “Mood Bedroom Meter” (2012) with a strict no-laptop policy requiring all tracks to be recorded in analogue onto solid-state recorders.
