Oh man this song is epic. I also remember how at 2:27 Matt Berninger, the singer, jumped in the crowd, and my sister got to hug him and I brushed his beard and patted him on the back. He also threw his wine at us. Felt like time stopped for a second there. So that was hilarious.

Everyone is talking about misheard lyrics in this song so here's mine. I could have sworn it was "This is nothing like it was in my room, in my best clothes, trying to finger you."

Is the beggining of the song a tribute to The Song Remains the Same by Led Zeppelin? Both songs start in a similar way.

According to wikipedia the song is inspired in part by John Kerrys presidential campaign, hence "Mr. November" since that's the month of the american presidential election.
