The Moonies (also know as Moonies) were an Adelaide band who formed in 1993 and disbanded in 2000. They were inspired by the lo-fi movement of the time and their first 2 albums" Losing Generations" and "Til Musical Differences Do Us Part" were released (both in 1996) on their 'format of choice', cassette. They formed their own label "A-Band-on Vinyl Records".
