    P.S. I just found the above on You Tube. As this song hasn't got an official video as such, the above is a video collage of the entire movie 'Head' with the full version of 'The Porpoise Song' included with the orchestral ending .. I really hope you enjoy it :)

    I love this song so much. It really captures the mood of the era perfectly. And, yes, I agree that The Monkees are very under-appreciated. They did some great stuff. The 'Head' LP is amongst my favourites. I loved the film too. Listen to Carole King sing a very early version of a demo of this song on YouTube .. it is just as haunting as the version sang by The Monkees ..
