In the pre-Mofos era, Fabian (Drums), Florian (Guitar, Mandolin), Micha (Guitar & Voc.) and Patrick (Voc. & Bass) started with cover Rock/Punk-Rock. After some first - dirty - works the clay started to form and evolved to the final genre Ska-Punk with the introduction of Jochen (Trumpet) on the trumpet. Songs about life and love, sorrows and happiness, with personal influences and pure fiction “The Mofos” started out at a show called “Moschders of Rock” in 2010. In the following summer, several shows were played and an EP was recorded. First as a studio musician, Roland (Guitar) on the solo-guitar joint the band right after the EP “quite loosened” was released. At the same time, Philipp (Trombone/Trumpet/Clarina) joint the trumpet section, playing also the trombone. “The Mofos” were completed. With a good bunch of own songs and the passion playing live, many shows were played from small pubs to large festival stages - in July/August 2011 on the international festivals “Traffic Jam Festival” and “Mini Rock Festival”. Even more “The Mofos” participated and won several Band-Contests, like the biggest international Band-Festival “Emergenza”, in which “The Mofos” reached the German South/West Final after winning two preliminary rounds before. Finally, the “Emergenza” was finished on the 5th place of almost 100 participating bands in Germany and Switzerland. In September 2011 there will be a studio session, where the first album will be recorded. Where the story leads to, nobody knows, but stay in tune for “The Mofos”.
