One half of a double A side along with Pisshead, released on Humble Soul in the UK and Hazelwood Vinyl Plastics elsewhere. Boat Song was written as a response by the lead singer to his mother’s concerns about growing old and contains a number of lyrical references to childhood. The music has been described as bar room chamber music and attempts to take the melodies and hooks of guitar based folk and rock music and transpose them to a string quartet.
