The Mercurials are a trio from Melbourne, Australia comprising Mark Ferrie (vocals & guitar), Andrew Pendlebury (guitar) and Adi Sappir (cello & vocals).
Their mostly acoustic sound incorporates elements of folk, blues, world and classical music.
They have been performing since 2004 and released their first self titled CD in 2005. A second album ‘Tangents’ came out in 2008.

Their most recent CD ‘Silver and Gold’ was released in October 2009 and, in addition to the group’s original compositions, features stunning, highly personalized versions of Bob Marley’s ‘Redemption Song’, George Harrison’s ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’ and ‘How Come’ by Melbourne songwriter Stephen Cummings
