Biography

The Mascara Story were an emo/alternative band from Derry in Northern Ireland. They got together in March 2004 and consisted of three members: Daveit Ferris (vocals, guitar piano), Sean Keddy (bass, vocals) and Jay Dickson (drums and other percussion).
They toured most of Ireland and even performed at the Download festival.
The band split up in October 2005

    i agree with elvenwonder. they do seem to come across disorganized and jumbled due to their changing tempos. however depite this, songs by "The Mascara Story", rather than "Daveit Ferris", are all excellent tracks. "This is not a bruise" and "i can see your pint...it's a knife are two my favourites"

    To me, this is a rather hit-or-miss band. Some of their songs are excellent and well put together, but others (especially when the tempo increases) have a tendency to sound disorganized and jumbled. Very good song titles, though.
