    Part of this song was written by a postman who helped Dobbins complete the lyrics. His name was Freddie Gorman and his mail route included Brewster public housing where members of The Supremes lived. Gorman also sang with Motown group The Originals.     You'd have a job to catch my postman. He creeps up at strange hours and runs. Was this the original recording of Mr Postman? Heard quite a few versions. never knew which came first.
