Biography
The Mariana Hollow are a female-fronted alternative metal quintet hailing from Greater London. Their sound is steeped in dark melody. Dynamic twin guitar lines and complex rhythms occasionally take the music in a progressive direction, yet the band never lose sight of the release and impact of a great chorus.
Three years ago, guitarist-songwriters Richie Walden and Danny Russell (ex Season’s End) met as they moved on from previous projects to focus on their vision of a dark yet melodic accessible sound. Their shared love of moody, powerful bands such as A Perfect Circle, Anathema, Opeth and Paradise Lost inspired them to start creating their own original arrangements.
So began a long search for the musicians who could bring their sound to life. In early 2008, the pair crossed paths with South African drummer Adam Stanley and bassist Scott Chesworth (who is blind). The bands chemistry clicked into place as each song took shape, but the band struggled to find the right singer.
Eventually, one Rebecca Spinks answered an online advert. With only an MP3 audition and a single meeting, it was immediately apparent that they were in the presence of a vocalist who could raise the bar beyond their highest expectations. Her unique emotive voice and heartfelt, articulate lyrics were precisely what the songs had been missing.

Tis now the morning after the gig and these guys n gal were totally brilliant.I strongly recommend that you go and check em out if they play a venue in your neighbourhood,you wont regret it.....guaranteed :-)
