    The video for the single “Cry” from the hit underground record “Schizophrenology,” by Wilmington, NC rock band The Majestic Twelve is currently #7 on MTVu’s Dean’s List.

    “As an independent band, all we’ve ever wanted was the chance to compete,” comments front man Kenyata Sullivan. “In this new era of the music business, things like this prove that a band like us who don’t want a record label can still get out there and play ball with the big boys. That’s exciting.”

    The Majestic Twelve's sophomore record and underground hit, Schizophrenology has been downloaded over 50,000 times (probably much more than that, but they keep forgetting to ask their webguy) since releasing independently for free in 2006, long before “In Rainbows” set the benchmark for brilliant marketing concepts.
