Turns out to be my 1000th scrobble for Magnetic Fields . And it's fab but the chances of a fab MF track are always pretty high :)

@LowPulp you're just wrong. smcd technically used it correctly. He was (presumably) not expecting to hear Death of Ferdinand Saussure while studying Saussure, hence the opposite outcome of what he expected occurred. Of course, having said that, it wasn't the smartest choice of words. He would've been more accurate, had he said "Interestingly.." or "curiously" or something like that.

@smcd: ironically, you used the word ironically incorrectly while you were studying a linguist.

This is such an amazing song. The lyrics and wordplay are so awesome :) Not to mention that gorgeously lush tune

This song got stuck in my head so much while studying Saussure and rather than hate it I just fell in love with it. Then again, I don't know anything about love.
