j_brodu Gabriel's version sucks, Nataly Dawn's version sucks. wish people would stop saying obviously inferior covers of songs from this album are better than the originals. (3) -- seriously. agreed

Why people love to complain about PG version? I think it's very good, it's a different interpretation of the song. And I love this song. It's just wonderful.

Listening to Gabriel's version is bittersweet...beautiful instrumentation and singing, but I can't reconcile the original irony of the song with Gabriel's intended lovey-dovey interpretation.

peeps be mad that gabriel took the irony out of the song and actually made it a love song.

Peter Gabriel's version manages to miss the point and suck out this song's soul at the same time. This version, however, is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded <3
