Best song on the album, no discussion there, but doesn't this mark a departure from the sound of 'What the Crow Brings', for example? Was this song possible only after they added a fourth member?

I think some people are too literal. Yes, it is about the twin towers, but it's also about the change of an era.

This song is insanely good. Sweeps me off my feet and wiggles me around a lot.

the lyrics are fascinating and not clear...Clearly there is a reference to 9/11 and war with Phillipe Petit doing his high wire act between the two towers, towers coming down, inactive gatling guns, and prophets. But the plane that crashed into the towers was a Boeing 767, not 737. My guess it is written from a perspective of someone that was killed on 9/11 but was also in the two towers in 1974 when Petit did his daring high wire act, and trying to make sense of why it all happened..
