About This Track

This song has been covered by several bands and two versions can be found (the La’s and one by Boo Radleys) on the soundtrack to the movie “So I married an Axe Murderer”

According to the There She Goes Songfacts, the common knowledge that this song is about heroin seems to be a sure bet. “Racing through my brain” and “Pulsing through my vein” exclude just about everything else, and newspapers in England ran stories about The La’s “ode to heroin.” La’s bassist John Power gave a rather evasive answer when asked about it, while La’s ex-guitarist Paul Hemmings flatly denied it.

Wait, are people really questioning if this version isn't as good as Six whatever's cover. What kind of band releases a cover as a single? Just think this. The La's were very influential with only one LP, and I (or any music critic) honestly havn't thought once about the other band in the last 15 years
