I think exactly opposite considering how much praise is lavished on this. --- For me, 'tis okay, but something's missing... perhaps the deft sense of rhythm and hypnotic melody whilst maintaining their signature uniqueness? This album has the latter, but lacks the former to the degree heard on Deep Cuts; Neverland captures this balance best, and One Hit does as well to a lesser extent. NaNaNa & The Captain are just cool, but ultimately filler type tracks. As for One Hit, it takes a bit to build up to that AHA moment, and the rest of the album suffers from this same flaw too; actually most tracks never even reach that plateau as if ideas weren't fully realized/developed.. or as if all their elements were revealed too soon and then didn't build on this base (or build on it well enough). We Share Our..Forest Families, Like A Pen and Silent Shout, in particular, exhibit this failing, tho LAP does cool stuff in the 2nd half when the vocals cease. The rest is just par for TK imo
