2012 Biography:


As one of Toronto’s truly break-out acts, The Killabits are fast becoming household names in the exploding world of electronic music. Having spent much of 2011 on the road throughout North America and Europe, this dj/producer duo continue to evolve their sound and satisfy their ever growing fan base.


Supported by BBC Radio1’s Kissy Sell-Out, influential sites like MediaContender.com, J’Aime Le Dubstep, Dubstep. net and peers throughout the industry, 2011 saw The Killabits headlining Belgium’s legendary Groove City festival, playing alongside DJ Craze for MEG Festival in Montreal, and selling out shows from coast to coast in North America, solidifying their reputation as some of the scene’s best DJ’s.


Now signed to Figure’s highly-anticipated DOOM MUSIC imprint, The Killabits have been hard at work in the studio following a recent Top 10 Beatport release (Their massive Moombahton remix of Jeuce’s “As We Move”), two Top 20 singles for Play Me Records and their smash hit collaboration with Zeds Dead, “Bassmentality”, named after their legendary Toronto event that’s hosted acts like Nero, Netsky, Skrillex, Koan Sound and countless others.


The Killabits are at the forefront of engineering the newest sounds of underground electronic music. With their unmatched live sets and a upcoming year packed with new releases, new collaborations and more of the tireless work ethic that’s taken them across the world, The Killabits are fast becoming major players in the global Bass Music movement.
