The Khayembii Communiqué was an underground screamo band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Although a trio, they manage to be more eminent than other screamo bands. An ordinary song consists of the singer-guitarist, Mark Shaw screaming his emotions out while strumming furiously at his guitar and singer-bass player Brian Wilcox, mutualizing the concept of the song with poppy bass lines and calm singing. They have performed with bands such as Saetia and You & I in local basements and house shows.
The band today, remains inactive. Only releasing a self-titled 7-inch and a split 10-inch with screamo band The Vida Blue, both released by indie label Blood Of The Young. The releases are nearly impossible to find today. The band even refers to their music as a “scratchy seven-inch played over the abyss of intervening years of diversion, desertion, and destruction. Also, an abandonment of the past; a regrouping to create something new with the same name.”

What my friends below me fail to mention in the discussion you’ve been reading about EmoViolence, was Faggot Disciple. (http://www.last.fm/music/Faggot+Disciple) probably the most under-appreciated early 90's discordant screamo band from Mid-West Australia. The name may be puzzling at first, but rest assured, the band's content is rife with vicious condemnations of the Australian public transportation system at the time, and If you want to talk about adroit music and heartbreaking narrtives, you should definately consider checking out faggot disciple’s ballad ‘no poem’ as it serves a detached, bitter relfection of modern Australian life, and the isolation obviously expierenced by members of the band. Once you’ve heard the sheer heart and brutal honesty expressed in the music of these young men, your entire views of Art, Life and Public Transportation will take on a whole new and wonderful shape.

In my opinion, the definitive "screamo" band. Only other bands that I think define such a fickle genre as "screamy emo" so perfectly are Anasarca, Knotwork, Portrait and Owltian Mia, but this band are so adroit and their narratives are just heart breaking.

The "Dogs with Bees..." track shows up on Kwakiutl Cannibal Society's discography as well as The Infinity Dive's. It is most likely the same members (KCS being the better of the three). Can't say for certain though.
