The Julie Dolphin were hand picked by members of Radiohead to tour with them twice throughout the UK. Dianne is the female silhouette seen playing keyboards in the Radiohead Live at the Astoria video and the other voice on a song called “How can you be sure?”.
Briefly changing their name to Tongue before adopting the moniker Boom Boom Mancini, upon signing to Almo Sounds, their new label.
They split in the early 00’s as Boom Boom Mancini, Geoff Hayden (Bass) and Nick Yeatman (Drums) stayed in London whilst Dianne Swann (Vocals and Guitar) and Brett Adams (Guitar) returned to their homeland, New Zealand, where they formed The Bads.
